The NHBRC tells homeowners to look at your past work
The NHBRC’s own checklist tells people to inspect homes the builder has already finished and to talk to past clients before signing. A photo gallery of finished jobs and a few words from past clients on your site let them start that check before they phone you.

Registration is checked online
Anyone in the business of building homes must register with the NHBRC and renew every year, and the NHBRC tells people to verify a builder’s registration first, by phone or on its website. The cidb doesn’t issue certificates at all: clients check a contractor’s grading on its online register. Put your numbers on your site.

More registered builders to choose from
The NHBRC registered 4 499 new home builders in 2024/25, up from 3 690 the year before and 3 535 in 2022/23. More builders means more quotes on the table, and the ones with photos and clear areas are easier to shortlist.

Homeowners still want to renovate
In Absa’s Q2 2026 survey, 76% of homeowners felt positive about renovating, down from 82% in Q1 2026. Of the positive group, 57% said renovating adds value to the property and 45% said it improves security. Show those kinds of jobs on your site.
Pools and roofs have opposite seasons
On Google Trends, “swimming pool” searches in South Africa average 75.4 in December and 17.6 in June. “Roofing” runs the other way: highest in June (83.3) and lowest in December (58.3), from 2022 to 2025. Get your site up before your busy months, not during them.

When South African internet users research a brand, 57.9% use search engines and 41.5% go to the business’s own website. If a neighbour gives them your name, a search is usually the next step. Your site is what they find.

The page covers new pools, repairs, cleaning, equipment and building work, with a gallery of their pools. A small form builds a WhatsApp message from the customer’s area, the service and what they are seeing. The about section shows the company registration number, VAT number and director, and says the business that came before it has worked on pools since 2020.

kdynamics.co.zaA Pretoria team that does geysers plus CCTV, garage doors, safety gates and full home inspections. The site explains how they work: an inspection, then a job card with costs before any work starts. Quote requests go to WhatsApp with the message already typed, trading hours are in the header, and a map shows their area around Pretoria.
